Yormick Law LLC’s Managing Member and Founder, Jon P. Yormick, is again providing valuable insights on US tariffs, duty mitigation strategies, and preparing for US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) inquiries, investigations, and penalty enforcement actions.
On 15 April, Jon will humbly appear at the Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley luncheon, in Marietta, Ohio, to deliver a presentation on “Tariffs and Tariffs.” Past speakers at the ERT include internationally renowned members of government, academia, business, and Nobel prize winners, including Steve Forbes, E. Gordon Gee, Claudia Goldin, Paul Krugman, Carol Roth, Robert Rubin, Lawrence Summers, and Ted Turner.
The evening before Jon’s luncheon presentation, he will meet with Marietta College students to discuss his career path into international business and trade law and answer questions about tariffs and trade.
Jon’s presentation at the ERT follows a similar tariff presentation last month in Southern Ontario at a “US Trade & Tariffs” workshop for regional economic development officials and members of Niagara Industrial Association (NIA), and a members only Global Expert Briefing webinar presentation, entitled “Update on Tariffs and the Possible Impact for Credit and Risk Professionals,” for the Finance, Credit & International Business Association (FCIB) in February.
